In the aftermath of the tragedy at the Bataclan concert hall in Paris in November, gunmen invaded a rock concert in Las Vegas in December and killed 58 people in the worst mass shooting in modern U.S. history. In February, some of those who survived the Bataclan attack held a concert of their own, followed by the cancellation of their tour dates. “It’s difficult,” Christoph, one of the survivors, told BuzzFeed News. “I have the shock of the first attack, then I have to go on tour.” The Bataclan attack sent shockwaves through the world of music, forcing artists to think about the consequences of going on tour — and returning to their homes.
